Senior Strategic Project Lead Washington, D.C. / Berkeley, CA

At Trilogy Interactive, we inspire movements. We tell stories that turn heads. We win progress for clients all across the country. And we want you to join us as our next Senior Strategic Project Lead, a leadership role at our firm. We are a team of dynamic, diverse, and passionate people who work with some of the biggest names in Democratic politics.

Do you love building long-term relationships? Do you look at ads in your newsfeed and think, “I wonder what they did for targeting? Why did they choose this piece of creative?” Do you have experience managing digital projects to meet aggressive deadlines and goals? If so, throw your hat in the ring and apply to be our newest account leader.

As Sr. Strategic Project Lead, you will manage a team to deliver industry-leading results for a host of political, advocacy, and non-profit clients. Drawing on your experience with Democratic politics, digital media, and project management, you will develop innovative digital advocacy, fundraising, and advertising campaigns that shape your community and the country’s future.

To accomplish that, our Project Leads need to:

  • For 4-6 clients, manage client relationships -- from conference calls to budgets -- and an internal team of digital and communications specialists. Your experience might be focused on digital fundraising, persuasion and mobilizing advertising, social media or all the above but wherever your focus, you’re able to hit the ground running with new client work.

  • Leverage Trilogy’s leading ad buying, creative, social media, and email production teams to deploy robust digital programs across a host of platforms (email, ads, texting, social, etc).

  • Oversee digital content development and creative production (including advertising, email, and social media), reporting, and optimization of clients' campaign plans.

  • Provide final internal approval for all client deliverables.

  • Research, test, and implement new digital advertising and marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Leverage relationships for business development, participate in marketing and proposal development, and represent Trilogy at industry conferences.

  • Monitor Trilogy’s internal operational systems including ad spend tracking, time tracking, and budgeting tools.

Will I Be Successful?

At Trilogy, we’ve got a big job to do and not a lot of time before the 2022 cycle heats up. So this leader needs to be ready to jump in on day one! People with all types of experience, backgrounds, and interests can excel at this position. Here are a few traits a successful Sr. Strategic Project Lead will bring to the table:

  • You are experienced: You have about 6+ years of experience in digital marketing or professional politics. You lead the digital department of a major campaign, committee, non-profit, or advocacy org, or you’re currently doing similar work at a digital agency and looking for a chance to grow.

  • You are organized: You excel at guiding multiple people through dozens of tasks, all at once, without ever missing a beat. You do it by creating processes and systems that ensure the work is scalable and mistake free.

  • You empower diverse perspectives: You recognize the value that team members bring to our work based on their unique life experiences. You collaboratively and respectfully draw on these experiences to produce high quality, culturally competent work.

  • You are always pushing the envelope: You aren't just interested in checking boxes; rather, you continually push your team. You don’t just follow best practices. You strive to create new ones -- to test new strategies that improve results.

  • You love building relationships: Your communications in person or by phone and email aren't just about the next task, but develop long-term rapport with clients, partners, and fellow team members.

  • You are a leader: You take an interest in the personal and professional growth of your fellow team members. You contribute to a positive workplace culture.
